Bullhorn has an exciting opportunity for a Senior React Native Developer to serve as a leader/code contributor on our team of talented engineers and QA professionals. As a Senior Developer, you will collaborate with and influence employees at all levels across Bullhorn. You will lead, motivate, challenge, and support your Development team to maximize velocity and quality to deliver world-class products. This role will evolve into a Development Manager over time also!
The role focuses on building a valuable customer experience on digital customer touchpoints (web, mobile app), hence a strong background in digital SaaS platforms would be incredibly useful.
As the Senior Developer, a typical day will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development and testing of new user-facing features, and support existing ones, across web and mobile apps (Android & iOS).
  • Working with Engineering leads to ensure that development aligns with agreed to architectural decisions.
  • Working with the support teams to manage customer escalations.
  • Managing delivery of multiple and concurrent product releases.
  • Build reusable code, components and libraries for future use
  • Debug the code and update react native libraries
  • Optimise code and assets for maximum speed and scalability
  • Create & maintain product development roadmap, backlog and release schedule.
  • Develop standards, best practices and guidelines.
  • Write and improve technical documentation.

This job might be a fit for you if:

  • You have experience developing with React Native, ReactJS, JavaScript.
  • Experience developing apps for iOS and Android.
  • Experience with the native build tools (Xcode, Gradle) and Node package manager
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience with Cloud based architecture e.g., Azure, GCP, etc.
  • Experience with Apple AppStore & Google PlayStore upload and maintenance process.
  • Experience in AGILE methodology and tools
  • Knowledge of UX and UI design
  • The ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • The ability to voice ideas, opinions and provide technical direction on projects.
  • The ability to quickly learn and adjust to new technologies and processes.
  • The ability to deliver clear, concise, and well-structured code.
Bonus points for:
  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related major
  • Understanding and experience with CI/CD pipelines (using Git, Jenkins or similar)
  • Experience in an ISV related environment
